I liked a few things, like the little animation of the checkpoint/eye and the sound of the black hole.
The movement feels a bit nice but I didn’t like the last part because I feel the platform that goes in circles isn’t that clear when you see it the 1st time.
The jumps that go through different elements vertically need a bit of change, because sometimes you hit the ceiling before the change and you need to reset the screen to do the jump correctly since you get stuck or fall into the abyss.
I think the hitbox of the element bottles are too big, making a few parts a bit weird since you need to avoid them.
I liked the bgm, it feels good with the style of the visuals.
I don’t know if the game has a secret ending or if reaching the loop it’s the ending but it’s nice and short.
Thanks so much for the detailed review!
Yes, the loop was the ending. And level design could use much improvement since it was rushed during the last day of the jam. It is something I will definitely focus more on in future games.
Yay! I finished the game :)
That was my only doubt haha
Oh, also, I forgot to say, once you finish the game and loop the game, there is bug with the checkpoints, I fall into the abyss in some point and the game teleported me into the last checkpoint of the game, like the checkpoints stay active after the loop making you skipping parts of the game.
Good luck and keep learning! :D
